Sixth week teaching practice 31/01/2022 to 04/02/2022

This was the last week of our teaching practice in school. It is completely online classes. But we have to go to school and we have done some other works like cleaning, writing registers etc. In this week I have compled my all the topics of physics and chemistry of class 8.Also we have conducted a diagnostic test to understand the weak portion of students and taken a remedial lesson of that topic. In physics,  to teach the topic of magnification and uses of mirrors I have used presentation. It helps students to understand the concept. Also in chemistry, I have completed the true solution, colloid, suspension through a video presentation. And also explained about the soft drinks and harmful effects and other health issues of these soft drinks. I have completed all topics given to me in a time bound manner. This teaching experience in school is a wonderful one. Now I got a clear idea about how to take class. At the starting day i  am really tensed in taking class. But now I am really confident. For a B. Ed student it is really essential that a teaching practice in school. It is during this period that the student teacher gets to translate the skills and theory learnt into reality through actual classroom teaching. Teaching practice is the vital component of teacher education and training because it provides student teachers with an opportunity to learn from experience in the work place.

second spell teaching practice- weekend reflection 8

                   This is the final week of our second spell teaching practice. This week gives a lot of experiences. At this moment I missed lot of my students, those classes, activities etc. This second spell teaching practice is entirely different when compared with the first spell teaching practice. A lot of changes happened in my teaching. I learned to reinforce the students. I learned to manage the classroom properly. I learned how to deal the students. Also I understand the responsibilities of a teacher. We got different duties apart from teaching. Also during the second spell I got many substitution period in up classes.
