second spell teaching practice - Weekend reflection 3

                   In this week some changes are happened in my teaching style. But i have to improve in some aspects also. 
                   This week gives more responsibilities to us. We started special class for the students of both up and high school because they are below average in their academic level performance . They don't even know how to write the basic malayalam letters. So apart from the actual classroom teaching we have given special attention and care to improve their academic performance. I helped them to write the basic malayalam letters, words and also helped to read their malayalam text book. Also in this week I have conducted a unit test in class nine. Some of the students have shown very good performance but some others have to improve a lot. All the students are doing the homework that i had given. I think it helps them to revise the concept at home. Also after the class i have collected their book and checks their notebook. 
               Also in this week we have given a lot of duties and responsibilities. We have the duty to serve the food at the noon time. And at the morning we have the duty to help the students to cross the road. Also at the evening we announce the time of the school bus. In this week also I got substitution periods at up class. I teach them some general knowledge questions. When I got eight or nineth class as substitution period I complete my another lesson plan. 
             In class 8 while teaching chemistry I have used video presentations for the students to understand the concept. After seeing the video they can answer all the questions in the activity card through group activities and without my help. For class 9 I teach them equations of motion. But students take more time to draw the graphs so i have to improve time management there. On Friday I couldn't go to the school because I am not well. Here I am attached some moments of our teaching practice.

second spell teaching practice- weekend reflection 8

                   This is the final week of our second spell teaching practice. This week gives a lot of experiences. At this moment I missed lot of my students, those classes, activities etc. This second spell teaching practice is entirely different when compared with the first spell teaching practice. A lot of changes happened in my teaching. I learned to reinforce the students. I learned to manage the classroom properly. I learned how to deal the students. Also I understand the responsibilities of a teacher. We got different duties apart from teaching. Also during the second spell I got many substitution period in up classes.
